Could we say a sincere thank you to the ladies and gents who have made our visit today at the Sweet Pea rally such a enjoyable experience. Special thanks to the steaming bay crew for all their help from first arriving to us leaving.
I don't obviously know which genius booked the weather but he deserves all our thanks, perhaps the chairman will take credit for that!!
It came as quite a shock to learn my loco won the best name prize and I believe it was the ladies vote, so thank you very much for the variety of beers they will go down very well, ok one already has!!
Wishing your society continuing success

Hello Brian and Paul and all the crew at Oxford Track.
Well what can we say what a fantastic weekend. We could not have been looked after better if we had been royalty. Plenty of time on the track , great food provided by your ladies for lunch.
Good night time entertainment and beer. What a billiant set up you have and look foreward to running there again sometime. Once again thanks for everything.

Thank you all for your hard work before and during (and after, I guess...) the Sweet Pea Rally. Superb weekend, lovely setting and weather, and everybody seemed eager to help. With so many people wanting to get onto the track at once, move locos to somewhere else, or just stand and chat, it was amazing that you all managed to keep so friendly under the pressure.
I was particularly impressed by the way the locos "magically" moved from the carriage shed to the steaming bays on Sunday morning without waking the campers.
It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into the logistics of the day, and it paid off.
